Discrimination in the system

 Durga Dhakal

Durga Dhakal

There’s discrimination in the system
There’s discrimination in the blood
There’s discrimination between colours
There is discrimination by people in one country towards their neighbours
There’s discrimination, discrimination in the system, discrimination in the blood
There’s discrimination between work roles
There’s discrimination between cultures,
There’s discrimination between height and weight, even our age— and birth date
There is discrimination
There’s discrimination between men and women.
There’s discrimination between boys and girls even
There’s discrimination between people creating a caste system,
Labelling them touchable and untouchable
Discrimination starts from system
Discrimination starts from the blood
Discrimination starts from language
Discrimination starts from home, family, school, temple, church, history, and religion
There is discrimination. However loud I can make my voice;it doesn’t go away. It’s rooted in the system.
Discrimination spreads into people’s minds, bodies and hearts
It’s not easy to achieve equality between human beings
Because—- it’s rooted, it’s planted —in the system
