My Hazaribag

I always miss you
You are always at my heart
In every breath, I inhale you
My childhood and
all the other hoods are there
in your lap
You are still taking care of myself
I am going to the school in half pant
My adorable father is riding on a bicycle
I am sitting on a small seat
Enjoying father’s love and care
Going to the college and university
Days of puberty
College friends,school friends
I am happy with everything
You gave me
My father left me there for Heavenly abode
He is still taking rest in Khirgaon.
Love of friends
Hate of the forced blood-relation
From university days to struggle days
You guided me,
Your balmy breath always taught me how to combat with the struggles
From the days of studying to be studied
From a child to an educationist
From an infant to an awarded author
I am yours
My heart always beats with
St Columba’s, the University,
Marwariground, lake and Canary
The love, eternal love I got from you
People snatched,
They crushed the emotion
They tied my legs, they injured my legs
Physically I am made unable to see you
But by heart I am always yours
I still take breath in your pious air
You are always mine,
no one can snatch you
I love you my Hazaribag, I love you.
